“Emily is the heart of the team. She wants to be successful and knows how to have fun while working hard. she is one of those glue team members, as I like to refer to them. She keeps everyone focused and together,”
To be called a state champion is a right that not many get to claim. Rylan Austin and the North Medford Black Tornado softball team have that right, after they beat Westview 11-3 in Corvallis last Saturday. “(Being a state champ), It’s an amazing feeling, the best feeling of the entire season…I couldn’t have done it without my team. They supported me and helped me get this title. It wouldn’t have been possible without them,” according to Rylan.
